Hansel "Sparky"?Wheeler, 74, of South-port, Fla., was born Jan. 10, 1933, the son of the late John Paris and Clara Mae Nickless in Alton, Mo. He died Nov. 5, 2007, at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Panama City, Fla.
He was married 53 years to Nadine Sellers Wheeler. He was retired from the United States Navy.
Survivors include: his wife, Nadine; two sons, Gene Wheeler of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Robert Brian Wheeler and wife, Caroline of Duluth, Ga.; one daughter, Dr. Susan Wheeler Harrell and husband, Benjamin, of Marietta Ga.; three grandchildren, Katherine Elizabeth Harrell, Andrew Stephen Harrell and Emily Anne Harrell; one sister, Burnice McGuire of Ogden, Utah; a niece, Clara Jo Case of West Plains, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; two brothers, J.P Wheeler and Carl Wheeler; and three sisters, Artille Wheeler, Rose Farmer and infant, Sadee.
The funeral services were held Nov. 7 at Peel Funeral?Home Chapel in Bonifay, Fla.
