Georgia Maxine Brewer, 81, was born Nov. 6, 1925, in Couch, Mo., the daughter of the late Willis Thompson and Velia Combs Thompson. She died July 14, 2007, in Mt. Vernon, Mo.
She was married on Aug. 31, 1952, at Salem, Ark., to Bobby Ryan. She was married Aug. 8, 1959 at Thayer, Mo., to Marshall Golden Brewer, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by: two sons, Paul Ryan and wife Dorothy of Pottersville, Mo., and ?Bobby Ryan and wife, Jaylene of Thayer, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Tracy, LaTeresa, Paul David, Shana, Misty, April, Billy and Bobby; 14 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Boyd Thompson of West Plains, George Thompson of O'Fallon, Mo., Robert B. Thompson of Morris, ?Ill., and Billy Thompson of West Plains; three sisters, Helen Betts of St. Louis, Mary Rogers and Charlene Doremus both of Thayer; several nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Marshall Brewer; a granddaughter, Amanda Faith Ryan; four brothers, Otho Thompson, ?Henry "Boots" Thompson, Glen Thompson and Thomas Thompson.
Funeral services were July 18 at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer with Rev. Charles Barnett officiating. Burial followed in the Thayer Cemetery with arrangements by Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.
