Goldie Alice Mahan, age 72, of Cave City, died March 23, 2007, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville.
She was born Oct. 6, 1934, at Cave City, Ark., the daughter of the late Robert Olza and Clara (Pinkston) Mahan.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include:?three brothers, Noil Mahan and Robert Mahan both of Cave City and David Mahan of Poughkeepsie; two sisters, Louise Curtis of Cave City and Norma Jean Barnett of Thayer, Mo.; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jewell Mahan and William Dub Mahan; and one sister, Diane Mahan.
The funeral services were held March 26 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. L.J. Gay and Bro. John Griffin officiating. Burial followed in the Parsley Cemetery east of Cave City with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Ronald Curtis, John McLaughlin, Derek Christopher, Mark Christopher, Bobby Mahan, Kevin Ring and Larry Ring.
Honorary pallbearers were Scotty Curtis, Damon Jones, Lee Mahan, Fred Barnett and Edward Barnett.
