Beverly J. "Bev" Wray, 80, of Indianapolis, Ind., died Feb. 12, 2007. He was born June 11, 1926, in Wild Cherry, Ark., the son of David and Stella Baker Wray.
He was a heating and air-conditioning technician for 37 years for Peerless, Space Conditioning and Butler-Mutz, retiring in 1991. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served in World War II.
He is survived by daughters: Linda (Larry) Folz, Judy Cooper and Carol (Royce) Cole; his wife, Cynthia Martin Wray and her daughters, Beth (Gary) Meadows and Carla McKee; a brother, Erman Wray; a sister, Janet Sandusky; grandchildren, Michelle Folz, Tami Mattingly, Laura Hodge, Chris Cooper, Brandon Cooper and Jennifer Cole; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Faye Wray; a son-in-law, Darryl Cooper; and several brothers and sisters.
The funeral services were held Feb. 16 at the Southeastern Church of Christ of which he was a member. Interment followed in the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Shultz-Lewis Children's Home, the Paragould Children's Home or the Southeastern Church of Christ.
