AARP safe driving course set at Horseshoe

Thursday, January 4, 2007

An AARP safe driving course will be taught in Horseshoe Bend Jan. 15. The class will start at 8:30 a.m. and last until 12:30 p.m. at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, on Third Street, across from Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. Parking and entrance to the classroom is down the hill behind the church.

Call Ron Dupler at 870-670-4941 to enroll or for further information. Sign-up is also available at BancorpSouth in Horseshoe Bend.

The certificate enables graduates 55 and over to receive an Arkansas auto insurance discount for three years. The current course, edition six, has received good reviews with its improved video. The course fee is $10 to help defray costs to AARP.
