Gladys Eillene Hudspeth, age 72, of Evening Shade, Ark., died Jan. 31, 2007, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville.
She was born June 21, 1934, at Thomaston, Ga., the daughter of the late Thomas Joseph and Nannie Catherine (Gerald) Clark.
She was a homemaker and a charter member of the Sovereign Grace Baptist Church at Bono.
Survivors include: her husband Harvey Hudspeth of the home; two sons, Harvey Hudspeth Jr. and wife Molly of Texas, Kenneth Hudspeth and wife Beverly of Harrison; one daughter, Nancy French and husband James of Evening Shade; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Elaine Hudspeth; and one sister, Dorthy Davis.
The funeral services were held Feb. 3 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Ludene Hudspeth officiating. Burial followed in the Evening Shade Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Heath Hudspeth, Jimmy Hudspeth, Tommy Davis, Wayne Reeves, Jimmy Copeland and Wilford McMasters.
