Dorothy M. Jensen Linden was born on May 14, 1922, in Zearing, Ill., the daughter of John and Phillipina Bird. She died Jan. 19, 2007, in McAllen, Texas, at the age of 85.
In 1943 she married Lt. Blaine Manahan, who preceded her in death in 1944 as an Army Air Corps pilot in World War II.
She married Robert K. Jensen in 1946, and they lived and farmed near Manlius, Ill., until 1990, when he preceded her in death. In 1993 she and Bob Linden of Horseshoe Bend (formerly of Walnut, Ill., were married and lived in Horseshoe Bend and Pharr, Texas.
She is survived by her husband, Bob; two sons, Kendall Jensen and Kerry (Cindy) Jensen; and two daughters, Sandy (Roman) Romanoski and Robin (Keith) Stithem; and two stepsons, Tom Linden and Gary Linden; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Viola Siebert.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; two brothers and a daughter-in-law, Judy Jensen.
The funeral services were held Jan. 25 at the Faith Presbyterian Church in Horseshoe Bend.
A graveside service was held Jan. 27 at the Manlius, Ill., Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel.
Memorials have been established to the Faith Presbyterian Church in Horseshoe Bend and to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Manlius, Ill.
