Bennard (Bennie) DeEle McDonald, 83, of Ash Flat died Dec. 6, 2006, at Baxter Regional Hospital in Mountain Home. She was born in Hoxie, Ark., the daughter of the late Fred and Martha Baehl. McDonald was a member of the Agnos Church of Christ and was a homemaker.
Surviving her are two sons, Loyd and Rickey McDonald of Ash Flat; one brother Robert Baehl of Marble Hills, Mo.; one sister Lavern Green of Denver, Colo., six grandchildren, Misty, Eric, Bryne, Brandon, Nickey and Cookie McDonald, all of Ash Flat; one great-grandchild Fallon McDonald of Ash Flat; a cousin Harold Roy Crosby of Pocahontas; several nieces; nephews; and lots of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Dairl McDonald; a son Van McDonald; two brothers Vernon and Eugene Gilleland; two stepsisters Effie Porter and Alice Baehl, and a sister, Lorene Day.
The funeral services were held Dec. 9 at Agnos Church of Christ with Jack Richardson officiating.
Burial followed in the Agnos Cemetery with arrangements being made under the direction of the Tri-County Funeral Home of Hardy.
Pallbearers were Tony Whited, Jim Cherry, Phil Howl, Brian Gates, Jeff Hamilton and Noble McCord.
Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Wilson and Eric McDonald.
