Cooperative sends help

AREA -- Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative crews have been sent to help restore power in areas that have been devastated by the ice storm that have left thousands of residents in the dark over a widespread area of Missouri.

Ten men and five trucks have been sent to help Gascosage Electric in Dixon, Mo. Gascosage Electric Cooperative serves cooperative members in parts of Maries, Miller, Phelps and Pulaski counties. Also, five men and three utility trucks have been sent to Mansfield to lend help to Se-Ma-No Electric Cooperative. Se-Ma-No in Mansfield serves cooperative members in portions Wright, Douglas, Webster and Texas counties.
