Haman Durham, 74, of Lawson, Mo., was born Feb. 5, 1932, in Moody, Mo. the son of the late Tommy H. and Maye Marie Taylor Durham. He died Jan. 11, 2007 at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Mo.
He was married to Doris Shrable on May 16, 1951. Before retirement, he worked at Fort Motor Company. He loved working on tractors. He was a member of the UAW Local 249 and the West Tracy Church of Christ.
Survivors are his wife, Doris Durham of the family home; three children, Donald Durham and wife, Carol of Excelsior Springs, Mo., Cynthia Posey, and husband, Richard of Gravois Mills, Mo., and Melinda Carpenter and husband, Roger of Lawson, Mo.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six brothers, J.T. Durham of South Fork, Mo., Alvie Lee Durham of Liberty, Jimmy Durham of Caulfield, Mo., Thomas Durham of Bakersfield, Mo., John Eddy Durham of Kansas City, Mo., and Tilman Durham of West Plains; sisters, Linda Brewer of West Plains and Margie Ann Horton of Cash, Ark.; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents; two brothers, James Oscar Durham and Huey Morris Durham; and two sisters, Flonnie Faye Durham and Marzie Cropper preceded him in death.
Graveside services were held Jan. 16, 2007, at Fore Cemetery near Bakersfield, Mo., with arrangements under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains.
