Homer Edward Foreman, 92, of Cave City, was born Jan. 31, 1914, at Sidney, Ark., the son of the late Wesley and Florence (Layne) Foreman. He died Jan. 16, 2007, at the Cave City Nursing Home.
He was a farmer and a member of the United Methodist Church at Sidney.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Jaunita "Pierce" Foreman of the Cave City Nursing Home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Edward Gene and Gayle Foreman of Sidney, and Boyce Dwain and Linda Foreman of Batesville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Geneiavee and Bill Paulk of Fitzgerald, Ga., and Annis June and Seville Reed of Concord; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one niece; three nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lester "Buster" Foreman and Cleburne Foreman; one sister, Callie Foreman; and one grandson, Timothy Dwain Foreman.
Services were held Jan. 18 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Noble Wiles officiating. Burial followed in the Mount Carmel Cemetery at Sidney with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Shane Reed, Jason Reed, Greg Foreman, Todd Foreman, Delmus Caraway and Jim Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Robert Walton and Darcel Griffin.
