This year's tour of homes, "A Christmas Celebration," will feature four homes on Liberty Hill Road in Highland. The homes on tour are owned by Joel and Kim King, Don and Linda Lovell, Randy and Michal McComas and Ted and Roberta Watson. The event is sponsored by the Hardy Garden Club and GFWC Timely Club.
Don and Linda Lovell's brick home was built in 1998 and has three bedrooms and three baths. Don and Linda purchased the home in 2004.
Linda has decorated their home in a Tuscany style. The kitchen and breakfast area are in the Tuscany style with artwork and wall paper in deep shades of purple, brown and green.
The Lovells love large family gatherings and hope to enjoy their elegant dining room this holiday season with many friends and family.
Their home will be decorated with a large tree in the living room in traditional colors of the season. The master bedroom will have a tree decorated in cream and gold.
Don and Linda Lovell's granddaughter's bedroom will be decorated in a garden theme.
A special treat for all will be Don's game room. Visitors will take a trip back in the 1950s and '60s. The game room is decorated in red, black and white and will have a decorated silver tree. The game room is complete with a full size pinball game, jukebox, pool table, barber chair and soda fountain.
The tour of homes will be Dec. 10 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served at the new community room at Liberty Bank in Highland.
Tickets can be purchased at the Interior, Grapevine and FNBC in Ash Flat; Tillie's Antiques, FNBC and the Dulcimer Shop in Hardy; FNBC in Cherokee Village; and FNBC and Liberty Bank in Highland.
