Felony charges possible

Thursday, October 5, 2006

Terry Alberts, 52, of Melbourne was arrested Sept. 26 and charged with domestic violence.

The Izard County Sheriff's Department has arrested Alberts numerous times on the same charge throughout the past few months as well as responded to Albert's residence multiple times on various complaints. Because of the repeated occurrences of the incidents, Albert's charges are likely to be upgraded to a felony, according to Lawrence.

Alberts has since posted his $1,000 bond and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Daniel Wayne Booker, 57, of Melbourne was arrested Sept. 25 and charged with third degree battery.

Joanna F. Clark, 21, of Melbourne was also charged with third degree battery after being arrested Sept. 28.

Both Booker and Clark posted bond of $1,000 and were released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

James Clouse, 30, of Springmill was arrested Sept. 28 on a felony failure to appear warrant relating to a theft of property charge. Clouse remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

After the alleged Sept. 21 threats to burn down his residence and shoot his family, Stephen Rainbolt, 35, of Gepp posted bond of $100,000 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility were he was being held for Fulton County authorities.

Rainbolt has an Oct. 11 court date where he will go on trial for arson, criminal use of prohibited weapons, possession of a defaced firearm, possession of a machine gun for offensive or aggressive purposes, first degree terroristic threatening and aggravated assault.
