Sherry Jean Risner Collins was born the daughter of Ed Case and Lillian Combs Case July 19, 1941, in Myrtle, Mo.
She died Nov. 22, 2006, at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield, Mo., at the age of 65.
She was united in marriage July 3, 1959, in Myrtle to Tommy Risner. She was united in marriage July 19, 2001, in Eureka Springs, Ark., to Glen Collins.
Survivors include her husband, Glen of the home in Thayer; three sons, Chad Risner and Tammy of Bentonville, Ark., Keith Risner and wife Pam of Thayer and Clay Risner and wife Heather of Thayer; one step-son, Mike Collins and wife Tammy of Springfield; one stepdaughter-in-law, Suzzette Collins of Caulfield, Mo.; five grandchildren, Beau Collins, Blake Risner, Colby Risner and Peyton Risner; seven stepgrandchildren, Justine Gray, Aaron Gray, Wyatt Collins, Tanner Collins, Autumn Collins, Patrick Collins and Megan Collins; her beloved sister, Nadine Goodwin and husband Charlie of Thayer; one brother-in-law, Don Collins and wife Sherry of West Plains; one sister-in-law, Lena Howard and husband Verlin of Dora, Mo.; a special aunt, Notra Deckard and husband Gilbert of Thayer; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives; and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband; one stepson Darrick Collins; and one infant sister, Daphine Case.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
The funeral services were held Nov. 27 at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer with Bro. Bill Bales officiating.
Burial followed in the Thayer Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.
