THAYER -- The Missouri Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will hold an informational meeting Sept. 7 to discuss issues related to Grand Gulf State Park near Thayer. The meeting will be held from noon to 1 p.m. at the Country Cottage, located at 720 Highway 19 in Thayer. The public is invited.
DNR officials said representatives from the park and the department's Division of State Parks will be on hand to provide information and answer questions. Visitors are invited to share comments on the park and facilities.
The informational meeting is part of an ongoing effort by the department to make sure the public has input on services provided in state parks and historic sites.
