Michael Moody, MD, of Salem, was recently reappointed as an American Medical Association (AMA) alternate delegate for the Arkansas Medical Society. He will serve a two-year term, beginning in January 2008.
Dr. Moody is a Family Practice physician with the Family Clinic, P.A. He has been a member of the society since 1973.
As AMA alternate delegate, Dr. Moody will serve, in the AMA delegate's absence, as a member of the AMA House of Delegates, representing the Arkansas Medical Society at meetings of the national House of Delegates for the betterment of healthcare nationwide.
The Arkansas Medical Society is a voluntary professional association, established in 1875, and represents more than 4,000 physicians and medical students in all fields of medicine. The Arkansas Medical Society is affiliated with the American Medical Association.
