Kermit Richard Larson, 83, of Cherokee Village, died Dec. 18, 2003, at his home.
Born Nov. 19, 1920, at Duluth, Minn., he was the son of Carl W. and Hilda Gafvert Larson. He was a retired pharmaceutical sales representative for Shering-Plough Corp, a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, a member and past commander of the American Legion Post 346, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Boy Scouts of America, a member and song director of Northeast Ozark Community Band, the Cherokee Village Volunteer Fire Depart-ment for 20 years, the Shriners of North America and a member of the Cherokee Village United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jayne Larson of the home; two sons -- Richard W. Larson and Gregg R. Larson, both of Cherokee Village; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Bonnie Irene Larson; and by a son, Steven Larson.
A memorial service was Jan. 3 at Cherokee Village United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayman Hollis and the Rev Kay Wiggins officiating.
