Rev. O'Neal Milligan, 73, of Emmet, Ark., died Jan. 14, 2004, at his home.
He was born Aug. 9, 1930, at Shelbyville, Ark., to Winslow and Ethel Williams Milligan.
He was pastor of the Laneburg United Pentecostal Church, former pastor of First Church UPC in Batesville and former pastor of the First Pentecostal Church in Sulphur Rock.
Survivors include two sons -- Gary Milligan of Sulphur Rock and Billy Milligan of Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Carol Williams of Brookhaven, Miss.; a brother, Floyd Milligan of Salado; a sister, Minnie Jane Bracey of Concord; four grandchildren -- Chad Milligan of Melbourne, Coleman Milligan of Dallas, Texas, and Jared Williams and Britany Williams, both of Brookhaven, Miss.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Julia Kathleen Milligan; and two brothers -- Everette Milligan and Jewell Dean Milligan.
The funeral was Jan. 17 at First Church UPC in Batesville with the Rev. M.D. Parmley, the Rev. O.D. Crabtree, and the Rev. B.J. Thomas officiating. Burial followed in Mountain View Cemetery east of Cave City with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
Pallbearers were Larry Milligan, Bill Milligan, Dennis Bracey, Chad Milligan, Jared Williams and Jim Birkhead.
Honorary pallbearers were Coleman Milligan and Lloyd Knatcal.
