Troy Cannon, age 22, of Strawberry, Ark., died Sept. 6, 2004, at Calamine.
He was born July 16, 1982, at Batesville to John Monroe Cannon Jr. and Ramona (Polston) Cannon.
He was a welder, having worked for Fluor Daniel's Construction, Triple H Construction and Penn and Pugh Construction.
He was of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors include his mother, Ramona Cannon of Strawberry; his father and stepmother, John and Denise Cannon of Strawberry; one brother, Brett Cannon of Saffell; one sister, Annette Townsley of Cave City; one stepbrother, Bryan Luther of Cave City; one stepsister, Ashley Luther of Batesville; maternal grandmother, Doris Polston of Strawberry; paternal grandmother, Anna Cannon of Strawberry; three nephews -- Kendall Townsley and Jonathan Townsley, both of Cave City, Tristan Cannon of Saffell; two nieces -- Mallory Boozer of Saffell, and Zoe Luther of Strawberry; six aunts; five uncles; and 17 cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jerrell Polston; paternal grandfather, John Cannon Sr., and a cousin, Heath Doyle.
The funeral service will be Sept. 17 at the Strawberry Church of Christ with Tommy Boles and Keith Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Dry Creek Cemetery at Lynn with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City, Ark.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Massey, Dustin Gilbert, Jarred Smit, Jason Broadway, David Murphy and Kramer Jones.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Mize, Roger Youngs, Jason Sullivan, Clifford Monroe, Trent Polston, Dillon Ferguson, Tom Carley and the River Valley Class of 2001.
