Ollie Maxine Key, 84, of Alton, Mo., was born July 9, 1919, in Alton, Mo., and died Jan. 20, 2004. She married Sept. 17, 1937, in Salem, Ark., to Leonard Key. She was a homemaker and an employee at the Puritan Factory for 26 years and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Carol Jean Orr and husband, Richard; three grandchildren -- Dena Applegate and husband, Chuck, Debbie Eshrich and husband, Brian, and Dennis Orr and wife, Kelly; seven great-grandchildren -- Jamie Harvill, Josiah and Jaclyn Applegate, Chase and Cody Eshrich and Blake and Megan Orr; three great-great-grandchildren -- Taylor Clary, Mason and Austin Harvill; one sister-in-law, Gladys Nickless; and four sisters -- Irene Allen, Lillie Hoyt, Margarie Diles and Geraldine Achord.
She was preceded in death by her parents -- Arthur and Pearl Hays-Nickless; her husband, Leonard Key; one brother, Oliver Nickless; one sister-in-law, Vera Nickless; three brothers-in-law -- David Hoyt, Delmer Allen and Doris Diles; and one nephew, Curtis Hoyt.
The funeral was Jan. 24, at Clary Funeral Home in Alton, Mo., with Arvil Hill officiating. Burial followed in Hickory Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Alton, Mo.
