Cecil G. Rosier, 96, of Salem, daughter of the late Phillip Jordan Scott and Sally Elizabeth Bray Scott, was born Nov. 11, 1907, at Byron, Ark. She died Aug. 11, 2004, at Fulton County Nursing Home in Salem.

She married P.W. Pleasant Oliver. He preceded her in death in 1965. She later married Troy Rosier. He preceded her in death in 1976. She is thought to have been the first licensed cosmetologist in the area. She was owner and operator of a beauty shop in Salem for many years and also ran a farm. She was a member of Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a brother, J.C. Scott, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands; two brothers -- Otho Scott and Alvin Scott; and her father and mother.

The funeral was Aug. 13 at Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church with burial in Salem Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem, Ark.
