Leonard "Bill" Bristow, 65, of Sperry, Okla., died March 5, 2004, at his home.
Born Jan. 14, 1939, at Ash Flat, Ark., he was the son of Samuel Tillman and Sarah Irene Roberts Bristow. He was a retired salesman for Tulsa Auto Collection and a member of the Church on the Move in Tulsa.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Bristow of the home; three sons and daughter-in-law -- Billy Wilson of Lawson, Mo., Jodie Bristow of Batesville, Ark., and Larry and Sherry Bean of Sperry, Okla.; four daughters and sons-in-law -- Christie and Monty Littlefield of Prior, Okla., Robin Wilson of Kansas City, Mo.; Teresa and Bear Franks of Cushman, Ark., and Dana and Monte Freeman of Sperry, Okla.; his mother, Sarah Irene Bristow of Cave City; three brothers -- Gordon Bristow, Jimmy Bristow and Junior Bristow, all of Cave City; five sisters -- Minnie Estes, Derlene Rogers and Donna Ables, all of Cave City, Betty Goodman of Evening Shade, and Bessie Sue Booth of Moko; 10 grandchildren -- Ashley Wilson and Dillon Wilson, both of Oneida, Ill.; Bailee Hale of Sperry, Okla., Reagan Littlefield of Prior, Okla., La'Ria Wilson, Anthony Warren and Brad Harnish, all of Kansas City, Mo.; Sheina Tubbs of Cushman, Lauren Freeman and Lindsey Freeman, both of Sperry, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and a grandson, Joshua Garrison.
The funeral was March 8 in the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Wayne Goodman officiating. Burial followed in the Maxville Cemetery north of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Terry Goodman, Anthony Warren, Byron Bristow, Dennis Rogers, James Estes and John Ables.
Honorary pallbearers were Kevin Bristow, Quinton Bristow, Brad Harnish and Stanley Booth.
