Jennifer McCullough has been named director of public relations for the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau.
McCullough brings many years of experience in public relations and marketing to the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber. From 1998 to 2002 she worked as a public relations and marketing consultant for clients in tourism, real estate, information technology, healthcare and entertainment. Prior to becoming a full-time consultant, McCullough served as the marketing director for Jennifer Wilson's Americana Theater, and worked as a reporter and copy editor for the Branson Daily News. In 1997 she was elected vice chairman of the board of directors for the first ever Destined for Branson group travel conference; she has also participated on the Hot Winter Fun and Branson Fest planning committees.
In 2001 McCullough received the Missouri Writers' Guild Walter Williams Major Word Award for co-authoring the Insiders' Guide to Branson and the Ozark Mountains, 3rd edition. She has written for many area magazines including Travel Host, All Roads Lead to Branson and Great Lakes Group Tour Magazine.
McCullough holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and public relations from Arkansas State University. She is originally from Salem.
