Rudolph Harold Clausing, 76, of Raytown, Mo., died Aug. 1, 2004, at Raytown.
Born Nov. 7, 1927, in Jeff, Mo., he was the son of John James and Laura Price Clausing. He was married to Louise Sellers.
He served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 344 in Thayer, Mo. He was a machinist working for many years in a machine shop and was of the Lutheran Faith.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Louise of the home in Raytown; two sons -- J.R. Clausing and wife, Gloria, of Lee's Summit, Mo., and Rick Clausing and wife, Stacy, of Grandview, Mo.; a daughter, Gina Dawe and husband, Travis of Raytown; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother, Johnny Clausing of Thayer; five sisters -- Bobbie Nemecek of Tulsa, Okla., Mildred Meeker of Tulsa, Okla., Louise Boehm of Pennsylvania, Mary McComb of Tulsa, and Martha Hickinbotham of Thayer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Laura Clausing.
The funeral was Aug. 4 at Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer with Paul R. Brewer officiating. Burial was in the Jeff Cemetery near Thayer with arrangements by Carter Funeral Home Inc. of Thayer.
