Elsie Mae Taylor-Horn, 83, of Chapmanville, W.Va., died Aug. 17, 2004, at Logan Center Nursing Home in Logan, W.Va.
She was born Jan. 4, 1921, at Many Islands, Ark.
She was the first daughter of John Taylor and Lottie Taylor-Amos.
She married Wallace Horn Jr. of Delbarton, W.Va., in November of 1947.
She was homemaker and a Christian.
She helped her husband with his business, Horn's TV and Repair Shop in Chapmanville for several years.
Survivors include her husband, Wallace Horn Jr., of Chapmanville; a brother, Millard L. Taylor and wife, Lorretta Taylor of Mammoth Spring; a sister, Georgia (Becky) Taylor-Gibson of Topeka, Kan.; a sister-in-law, Gwen Taylor of Cedar Hill, Mo., and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Madeline Taylor-Craft; and two brothers -- Morris C. Taylor and H.P. Taylor.
The funeral was conducted Aug. 21 at the Evans Funeral Home of Chapmanville, W.Va., with the Rev. Tony Vance officiating. Burial was in the Preece Cemetery at Delbarton, W.Va.
