Leonard Wesley Lohr, 94, was born Oct. 16, 1912, the son of the late Ernest Lohr and Nora Harrod Lohr in Billmore, Mo. He died April 10, 2007, in West Plains, Mo. He was united in marriage Aug. 17, 1967, at Alton, Mo. to Joyce Holloway.
In earlier years he worked in a gold and silver refinery in Kellogg, Idaho. He was a farmer and enjoyed gardening, fishing and quilting. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by: his daughter, Wanda Sue Freeman of Salem, Ark.; two step-daughters, Charlotte Padilla of Thayer, and Delores Hollingsworth of Neosho, Mo., two grandchildren, Kimberly Freeman of Salem and Anthony Freeman of Salem, Ark.; two brothers Alfred Lohr of Thayer and William Lohr of Thayer; one sister, Ann McComb of Crown ?Point, Ind.; several nieces; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; one brother, Cleo Lohr; and one sister, Alma Pingleton.
Funeral services were held April 13 in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer with Erman Croney officiating. Burial followed in the Thayer Cemetery with arrangements by Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.
