Ninetta Floyd Adams, 88, of Salem, Ark., daughter of the late Harve Leslie and Sarah Ella Smith Floyd was born Oct. 5, 1915 in Salem, Ark. She died Nov. 28, 2003 at Salem.
She married James A. Adams April 28, 1942, in Shreveport, La., and to this union two children were born. She spent her working years as a wife, mother, grandmother and in the grocery business for several years.
She was a member of Radiant Life Assembly of God Church in Ogallala, Neb.
Survivors are her son, James R. Adams of Napa, Idaho; two brothers -- Kenneth Floyd of Grapevine, Texas, and Winston Floyd of Ratcliff, Ark.; two sisters -- Mildred Taylor of Salem and Sammy Jo Sanders of Odessa, Texas; two grandchildren -- James J. Adams and Andrea Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Clara Joyce Adams; four brothers -- Carl Floyd, Raymond Floyd, Scoval Floyd, and J.B. Floyd; and a sister, Pauline Stevens.
The funeral was Nov. 30 at Assembly of God Church with William Hughart officiating. Interment was in the Howell Valley Cemetery at West Plains, Mo., with arrangements under the direction of Barker Funeal Home of Salem.
Pallbearers were David McHenry, Larry Ball, Doug Buss, Joe Johnson, Ron Adams and Jim Ball.
Memorials are preferred to the Assembly of God Church in Salem, Ark.
