Fritz Lorentzen, 80, of Cherokee Village died April 30, 2004. Born in Milwaukee, Wis., to Karen and Fritz Lorentzen of South Milwaukee, Wis., he is survived by his loving wife, Joyce (Hargrave) Lorentzen of Cherokee Village; a sister, Karen Soli of Menomonee Falls, Wis., sons David (wife Linda) of Middleton, Wis., Bryan (wife Cindy) of Franklin, Wis., daughter Barb (husband Tom) of Austin, Texas; granddaughters Rebecca and Amanda of Middleton, Wis., niece Lynn Soli (husband Bruce Kamradr) and dear friend Michele Zindars of Middleton, wis.
He achieved the level of Eagle Scout and served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific in World War II on the USS Rocky Mount. He was the owner of Parkway Floral in South Milwaukee for 30 years prior to his retirement to Cherokee Village in 1980. He was a member of the CV Men's Golf Association, community chorus and CV Cordiacs. He was an active member and past president of the Cherokee Village Lutheran Church.
A memorial service was May 3 at Cherokee Village Lutheran Church. Memorials can be donated to the Cherokee Village Lutheran Church.
