Mack Thomas Renfro, the son of the late William Everett and Della Griggs Renfro, was born Jan. 17, 1926, at Cookston, Okla.
He entered into eternal rest Aug. 27, 2004, at the age of 78 years. He lived at Pickren Hall for many years.
On June 21, 1952, he was married at Sturkie, Ark., to Wilma Doris Dykes, who preceded him in death on Sept. 3, 1974.
He was a veteran, having served during World War II with the United States Navy in the Pacific Theater.
He had worked for Amyx and was employed by Eaton Corporation.
Survivors include two daughters --Teena Kem Renfro of West Plains, Mo., and Carolyn Holman and husband, Glen, of Fort Worth, Texas; five grandchildren -- Jennifer Holman, Shawna Wilkerson, Greg Holman, Sheri Renfrow and Mackenzie Renfro; two sisters -- Vineta Lambert and husband, Noel of El Dorado Springs, Mo. and Sue Holliway and husband, Tom, Mr. Sterling, Ill., his mother-in-law, Alta Dykes of West Plains; and several nieces and nephews.Renfrow was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, a sister, Elmarie Renfro; and two brothers - George and John "Buck" Renfro.
