Almyra Hill Miller, 90, died Oct. 28, 2004, in Cherokee Village. Born in Texas Sept. 14, 1914, she was the daugher of Andew and Ruby Chambers.
She married Rex Hill in 1934. After moving to Columbus, Ind., where she was employed as a first aid nurse, she had two children. She was a fifty-year member of the Eastern Star. Upon retirement in 1973, they moved to Cherokee Village.
After the death of Rex Hill, she was married to Ralph McCullough, who died in 1981.
Suviving Almyra is her devoted husband, Kenneth Miller; her son, Loran Hill, and his wife, Ann, of Indianapoplis; her daughter, Karen (Hill) Lamb of Columbus, Ind.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two brothers, seven sisters, and two grandsons -- Kevin and Brian Stadtmiller.
The funeral was Nov. 4 at Tri-county Funeral Home. Burial followed in Oaklawn Ceme-tery with arrangements by Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel.
