Austin Davis riding to make motocross dreams come true

Austin Davis of Ravenden is making his dreams come true in motocross racing.Davis, age 16, is the son of James and Michelle Davis, and has been racing for three years.Davis has consistently placed first or near the top of his racing events. He is the current title holder of last year's Arkansas/Missouri Championship and has competed in numerous events across Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas, Missouri and ran in the nation's second largest motocross event in Ponca City, Okla.A dream of turning professional has been a long--term goal for Davis. One of his immediate goals is to qualify for the largest motocross event on the circuit, held in Waverly, Tenn. Davis hopes to make it there next year and then turn pro.Sponsors of Davis include TISCO of Fort Worth, Texas, Ash Flat Cycle, Drinnon's Cycle of West Plains, Kissee Law Firm, Cookie's One Stop of Ravenden and Hitt's Texaco.Davis also rides for the Team Extreme.
