Ralph Thomas Kipfer, 76, of Franklin, Ark. was born Oct. 5, 1926, in Harbor Beach, Mich. to Arnold John and Elizabeth Forstner Kipfer. He went home to be with the Lord Oct. 12, 2002, in Salem. He attended school at Harbor Beach, Mich., and General Motors Institute in Flint, Mich. He served his country in the United States Air Force during World War II. He worked and retired from General Motors. He and his wife, Verda moved to Arkansas in 1989. They ministered at the Pioneer Nursing Home, Fulton County Nursing Home, NARC in Horseshoe Bend, and the home in Calico Rock. They ministered in various churches and wrote "The Power of Deliverance Ministry" in The Melbourne Times.
Survivors are his wife, Verda Kipfer of the home; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Leona Kipfer and Joe and Catherine Kipfer; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Isabella and Roy Farrel and Emalene and Emil Kovaks; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Juanita Kipfer, Ed and Tammy Kipfer, one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Tom Jordan; one step-son and wife, Thomas Jr. and Sandra Heed; 11 grandchildren, Joel and wife, Jenny Kipfer, Elissa Kipfer, Christen Kipfer, Amanda Kipfer, Tasha Kipfer, Jeremy Jordan, Sarah Jordan, Bryan Jordan, Brooke Jordan Darling, Daniel Heed and Ashley Heed; one great-granddaughter, Daniella Kiper.
Services were Oct. 15 at the Calico Rock Funeral Chapel with Rev. Donnie Speak, Rev. Gilbert Molinar, Rev. Curtis McLaughlin and Joel Huddle-ston officiating. Burial was Oct. 17 in Flint, Mich., with arrangements by Brown Funeral Home. Local arrangements were by Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers were Elliot Golman, Larry Connors, Bruce Jackson, Jonathan Speak, Denny Burch, and Ben Kittrell.
Honorary pallbearers were Bill Cantrell and Gary Potter.
