Arthur "Art" Foster Faulkenberry, 72, of Lathrop, Mo., died at his home Feb. 8, 2003. Born Aug. 1, 1930, in Salem, he was the son of Arthur and Lizzie Faulkenberry. He served in the United States Marie Corp during the Korean War. He was president and owner of B & E Trucking, Inc. for 30 years, until health reasons forced him to retire. He enjoyed his farm and cattle.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Anna Faye Morrow Faulkenberry of the home; his daughter, Kathryn Clarke of Platte City, Mo.; two grandsons -- Chris Faulkenberry of Lathrop, Mo., and Tad Keller of Wichita, Kan.; two granddaughters -- Melissa Keller of Lathrop, Mo., and Nicole Faulkenberry of Kansas City, Mo.; four great-grandsons -- Austin and Dominic Faulken-berry of Lathrop, Mo., Logan Keller of Lathrop, Mo., and Thomas Keller of Wichita, Kan.
He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Faulkenberry; his parents; two brothers -- Doyne Faulkenberry and John Tom Faulkenberry; and his sister, Blanche Burke.
The funeral was Feb. 12 at Park Lawn Chapel. Burial was in Green Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Park Lawn Funeral Home.
