Coy Foshee, 88, of Pocahontas, Ark., formerly of Mammoth Spring, Ark., died Jan. 3, 2005, at his residence. He was born July 4, 1916, at Judsonia, Ark. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Vestel Foshee of Mammoth Spring; two sons -- Jerry Foshee of Pocahontas, and Sam Foshee of Lyndon, Ill.; two daughters -- Shirley Rosnes of Rock Falls, Ill., and Carletta Jones of Springfield, Tenn.; a sister, Claudine Uetz of Rockford, Ill.; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby Foshee; a son, Ricky Foshee; four brothers and four sisters.
A graveside service was Jan. 6 at the Chapel of Cox-Waymon Funeral Home at the Saddle Cemetery near Saddle, Ark. Dean Sullins officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Cox-Waymon Funeral Home of Pocahontas.
