James R. "Bob" Hansen, 77, of Cherokee Village, passed away Dec. 29, 2002, at his home. He was born Aug. 12, 1925, at Scandinavia, Wis., to Emil Walter and Faith Lamb Hansen. He was a retired real estate broker and a member of Peace Lutheran Church at Cherokee Village.Survivors include his wife, Lenice Regel Hansen of the home; two daughters and son-in-law -- Kay and Frank Wiggins of Cherokee Village and Susan Hansen of Houston, Mo.; four sons and daughters-in-law -- Jack Hansen of Cherokee Village, Jim and Debbie Hansen of Cave City, John and Cindi Hansen of Cherokee Village, Jay and Connie Hansen of Benton; one brother, Hance Hansen of Port Edwards, Wis.; three sisters -- Marjory Neubauer of Larson, Wis., Carol Hardel of Scandinavia, and Betty Bieder-man of Ocala, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters -- Beulah Torgenson and Alice Thompson.Memorial service was Jan. 1, 2003, at Peace Lutheran Church at Cherokee Village with Rev. Brian Pummill officiating. Interment was in the Peace Memorial Garden at Cherokee village with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
