A Gepp man has been charged with terroristic threatening involving an incident with his 10-year-old son May 1.
A family member called the Fulton County Sheriff's Office and reported that James Hefley, 34, was threatening to cause bodily harm to his son.
Deputies David Estes and Carrol Traw and Gepp First Responders patrolled the area for a short period before locating the two on Mt. Calm Road.
Hefley was taken into custody at the Fulton County Sheriff's Office and the boy was turned over to a family member.
Additional charges of domestic abuse and endangering the welfare of a minor have been filed against Hefley, who is scheduled to appear in District Court June 12.
