Hodges signs with Eagles

Jimmy Hodges of Cave City will play basketball at Williams Baptist College.

Hodges, a 2002 graduate of Cave City High School, signed his letter of intent with the Eagles Aug. 12 at the Cave City High School gymnasium.

Hodges averaged 15 points per game last season, and he was selected All-State and All- District his junior and senior years.

Hodges was also picked All- Lyon College Tournament team the past two years, and he was named to the All-NEA Tournament team last season.

Hodges is the son of Randy and Kathy Hodges of Cave City. Present for the signing were his parents, his brother, Jon Hodges, his grandparents, Bill and Betty Weaver, CCHS coach Mark Smith and Eagles coach Jeff Rider.

Williams Baptist is a four-year college at Walnut Ridge. The Eagles compete in the NAIA's American Midwest Conference.
