OREGON COUNTY -- The Missouri Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will hold an informational meeting Oct. 24 to discuss issues related to Grand Gulf State Park near Thayer. The meeting will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the meeting room of the Warm Fork Restaurant at Thayer, and the public is invited. The restaurant is located at the junction of Highways 63 and 142.
Representatives from Grand Gulf State park will be on hand to answer questions concerning the park. A park official said the public is invited to share comments on the park and its services.
The meeting is part of an ongoing effort by DNR to ensure that the public has input on facilities and services provided in state parks and historic sites.
