Ena M. Church, 85, of Cherokee Village, Ark., died Oct. 9, 2002, at Eastern Ozarks Regional Hospital in Cherokee Village. She was born Dec. 19, 1916, in Lawrenceville, Ill. daughter of the late Viola Freshley Phipps and Harry Phipps. She was a homemaker, and a former bookkeeper for Farm Bureau Elevator.
Survivors are one son, William Buckler of Summerville, Fla.; two daughters, Sue Schondel of Cherokee Village, and Grace Vereb of Summerville, Fla.; one brother, Harry Phipps of Florida; three sisters, Beth Ramlow, Ellen Schaller and Lela Whitwham all of Ohio; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Owen Church.
Services were Oct. 12 at the Cherokee Village United Methodist Church with Jim West officiating. Burial was in Swan Creek Cemetery at Mt. Clover, Ohio, with arrangements under the direction of Heath Funeral Home of Hardy.
