Brian Edward Taylor, 23 of Hardy, Ark. died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002 in an automobile accident on Ark., Hwy. 175 near Hardy. He was born July 15, 1978 in Mtn. Home, son of John R. and Kathie (Casey) Taylor. He was a graduate of Williford High School in Williford. He graduated from Black River Technical College in Black Rock with a degree in diesel mechanics. He worked as a maintenance worker for Martin Marietta Materials Co. in Black Rock formerly Meridian Aggregates Co.Survivors include his parents, John and Kathie Taylor of Jacksonville, Ark.; one brother, Andy Taylor of Hardy; one sister Amber Bell and her husband Andy of Hardy; his material great-grandmother, Lorraine Sodergren of Macon, Ill.; his maternal grandfather, Robert (Bob) Casey of Memphis; several great aunts, a great uncle, many aunts, uncles and many other relatives and friends.Brian was preceded in death by his material great-grandfather, Roy Casey; his maternal great-grandparents, Wayne and Ruth Allen and his paternal grandparents, Preston and Pauline Taylor.Services were Monday, Feb. 4, 2002 at 2 p.m. at the Tri-County Cherokee Chapel., in Highland with Rev. Floyd Rikard officiating. Burial was in the the Baker Cemetery near Ozark Acres with arrangements under the direction of Tri-County Cherokee Chapel of Highland.Pallbearers were Brian's co-workers; Millard Wells, Mitchell Frazier, Terry James, Bob Smith, Gary Leathers, Rodney Smith and Matthew Smith.
