A Thayer man was arrested July 30 in Mammoth Spring when authorities seized over a half pound of marijuana in his vehicle.
Mammoth Spring Police Chief Mike Davis was on patrol when he observed Jeremy Thompson, 26, had crossed the center line on Main Street in Mammoth Spring several times. Davis said a tail light lens was broken in the 2001 Ford Mustang that Thompson was traveling in.
Davis pulled the driver over in a bank parking lot and discovered the drugs, he said.
Davis said Thompson was charged with DWI, drug possession, no proof of liability insurance, driving left of center, driving on a suspended driver's license, no seat belt and defective equipment.
Thompson is being held at the Fulton County jail on a $15,000 bond, said Deputy Paul Martin.
