Freedom Ford slates two-week grand opening

Thursday, March 11, 2004

The new owners of Freedom Ford have announced its grand opening celebration.

The celebration began March 10 and will last until March 27.

David Miller and Jack Yancey recently acquired the Melbourne dealership known as Walker-Creighton Ford for many years.

Yancey said, "We are very pleased to be operating the Ford dealership here in Izard County. The support we have received so far has been very much appreciated. Everyone involved in the Freedom Ford team, from ownership to sales to our service department, has local ties to the community. We look forward to assisting our friends and neighbors with their transportation needs."

Freedom Ford is located on Highway 69 East in Melbourne and prides itself on offering honest and reliable sales and service, the owners said. The dealership inventory includes new, used and program vehicles. Just this past week, Freedom Ford's service department expanded to accommodate new technology and equipment for computerized wheel alignment.

The entire staff invites everyone to stop by during the grand opening to meet the employees, register for prizes and learn about the new service available at Freedom Ford.

Prizes include a new set of tires ($400 value) and a grand prize of $1,000 cash.

Freedom Ford is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday and until 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

Persons may register at the dealership until the drawing is held at 2 p.m. March 27. Winners will be notified since it is not necessary to be present to win a grand opening day prize.
