Lois Pink Adams, daughter of the late Lehman Bruce Manes and Nancy Carol Albright Manes, was born Sept. 22, 1918, in Camp, Ark., and died Dec. 24, 2003, in West Plains, Mo., at the age of 85 years.
She was united in marriage to Alex Adams. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Alex Adams of Mammoth Spring, Ark.; two daughters -- Shirley Carol Landers of Indianapolis, Ind. and Myrna Lou Newton and husband, Jerry, of Mammoth Spring; two brothers -- Lehman Bruce Manes and wife, Margaret of Salem, Ark., and Ted Manes and wife, Eunice, of Dennison, Texas; one sister, Emily Jane Marr and husband, Jim of Forney, Texas; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Hershel Franklin Manes and one sister, Polly Wilson.
Services were Dec. 28 at the United Methodist Church at Camp, Ark., with the Rev. Terry Sager officiating. Burial was in the Camp Cemetery at Camp, Ark., with arrangements under the direction of Carter Funeral Home Inc. of Thayer, Mo.
Pallbearers were Marvin Albright, Roger Albright, Steve Manes, David Albright, David Kissinger and Jerry Newton.
