Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Wilson of Cherokee Village have announced the engagement of their daughter, Amber Sharae, to J.R. Castor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Roy Castor of Evening Shade.The bride-elect is a 2001 honor graduate of Highland High School. She is a student in the Honors College at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. She is the granddaughter of Marie Wilson of Jonesboro, the late Aubrey Wilson Sr., the late Johnnie Scott and the late Earl Scott.The prospective groom is a 1998 graduate of Evening Shade High School. He is serving in the United States Army as an EOD tech stationed at Fort Polk, La. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Davis of Orem, Utah, and Esther Castor of Pangburn and the late Leonard Castor.The wedding will be at 1 p.m. June 15 at First Baptist Church of Cherokee Village on Iroquois Drive. Local invitations will not be sent. However, all friends and relatives are invited to attend.A reception will immediately following the ceremony.
