Scoval Floyd, 84, of Salem, Ark., son of the late Harve Leslie and Sarah Ellis (Smith) Floyd was born July 2, 1917, at Moko, Ark. He died Saturday, March 16, 2002, in Salem. He was married to Judy Skrapates Oct. 17, 1977, in Salem. He was a farmer, a handyman, and served his country in the U. S. Army during World War II. He was of the Assembly of God Faith.Survivors include his wife, Judy Floyd of Salem; one son, Thomas O'Donnell of Salem; five daughters, Kathleen O'Donnell of Conway, Mary Estes of Harmon, Ill., Debi Sutherland of Salem, Ruth Skrapates of Salem, and Susie James of Salem; four brothers, Carl Floyd of Borger, Texas, Kenneth Floyd of Grapevine, Texas, J. B. Floyd of Loveland, Colo., and Winston Floyd of Ratliff, Ark.; three sisters, Nina Adams of Salem, Mildred Tyler of Salem, and Sammy Jo Sanders of Odessa, TExas; eight grandchildren, Stacy, Eric, Tiffany, Josh, Ian, Wes, Jamie and Jesse. Two great-grandchildren, Madison and Nicholas; a special friend, Vaughn Richard; many other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Raymond Floyd; and one sister, Pauline Stevens.Memorial services were Monday, Mach 18, 2002, at the Barker Funeral Home Chapel in Salem with Bro. Ken Caldwell officiating. The body was cremated, and arrangements were under the direction of the Barker Funeral Home of Salem.
