The MRID Commissioners met March 25 at the Horseshoe Bend City Council chambers and announced the sale of 51 lots by the State Land Commissioner.
The pro shop reported 1,042 rounds of golf for February. The golf course was closed five days in February due to inclement weather. Annual golf membership dues are delinquent as of April 2. The dues are the same as last year: single property owners $360; husband and wife property owners $660; non-property owners $520. Dues can be paid at the MRID office or pro shop. A winter clearance sale is now in effect at the pro shop in order to make room for spring merchandise.
The pre-emergents herbicides have been spread on the golf course. The financial report showed a cash balance on hand of $48,517.74 at the end of February. A net loss for February was $21,268.13. Income year to date was $18,075.24; expenses incurred were $71,439.53; a net loss was calculated at $53,364.29.
An increase an annual membership for the large swimming pool was approved at the following rates: Horseshoe Bend residents from $20 to $30; non-residents from $40 to $50; and the daily rates will remain the same.
