A two-story home was fully engulfed in flames Nov. 22 when Horseshoe Bend Volunteer Fire and Rescue responded to the scene at 405 Icabod Lane. The structure, owned by Bruce and Pam Partridge, was a total loss.
Flames were coming through the roof upon arrival, said Fire Chief Mike Hilliker.
The fire department responded with two pumpers, one tanker and 13 firefighters, Hilliker said.
The house was unoccupied at the time of the fire, Hilliker said. The fire department was on the scene from 11:45 p.m. until 4:10 a.m.
The cause of the fire is undetermined but is under investigation, Hilliker said.
