Treva Lee Wood, 85, of Oxford, daughter of Stanley Parrish and Lora Jane Chadwick Parrish, was born Sep. 1, 1918, in Oxford, Ark. She died March 21, 2004, at Pioneer Nursing Home in Melbourne, Ark.
She married Lawrence Wood on Sept. 29, 1937, at Oxford, Ark. To this union, four children were born. She was a homemaker, who along with her husband, ran the family farm. She was also employed by Tri-County Shirt Factory in Salem for 11 years.
She was a member of Oxford Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children -- Shirley (Bob) Cunningham, and James (Tammy) Wood, all of Oxford, Kathryn (Bob) Grimmett of Wenatchee, Wash., and Jan (Darrell) Reynolds of Rogersville, Mo.; a sister, Marie Standerford of Wenatchee, Wash.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and three brothers.
The funeral was March 24 at Cox-Blevins Chapel. Burial was at Oxford Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem, Ark.
