Willett, Dillinger win runoffs

It took an extra three weeks, but Fulton County voters have selected their next sheriff and a Democratic candidate to face Republican Gary Phillips for county judge in the November general election.

For the Democratic nominee for Fulton County judge Charles Willet of Salem with 0000 votes narrowly defeated opponent Jerry Smith of Mammoth Spring, 0000 votes.

In the Fulton County sheriff's race Carroll Traw of Mammoth Spring with 0000 votes won a tight race with Walter Dillinger of Viola, 0000 votes.

Both Willet and Traw garnered the most votes in the May 18 primary but neither had a majority.

In the Calico Rock City Councilman's race, Jeremy Harris with 0000 votes defeated challenger Elbert Kizzia for the Ward 3, position 1 seat.
