MAMMOTH SPRING -- Mammoth Spring School will hold a public flea market April 2, the same day as the Mammoth Spring citywide yard sale.
The flea market will be held at Mammoth Spring Elementary School's parking lot and is open to anyone who needs space to sell items. School officials said in case of inclement weather, the sale will be held in the gym and multi-purpose building.
Booth spaces are available for rent with all proceeds going to the high school. Spaces are one parking space (11-feet by 18-feet) and are $15 per space. As many spaces as needed may be rented. Tables will also be available for rent at a cost of $5 per table while tables last. School officials said all booth space and table rental is first come, first served.
Concessions and barbecue sandwiches will be available all day. Restrooms will be available for public use.
At 5 p.m. an auctioneer will be available for anyone who wants to sell items remaining. A 10 percent commission will be charged and the proceeds will go to the school.
Clothing left over from the sale will be boxed and distributed in Mammoth Spring.
All other items will be auctioned off with proceeds going to the school.
